Mr. Truan was a Technical Engineer at Robert Shaw Control, a defense contractor, for 4 years, followed by 10 years at True Skill, a federal manufacturing contractor for Oakridge National Lab. He founded a hospital maintenance company, Task Unlimited Inc., contracting with St. Mary’s Hospital and Summit Medical Group. He has an extensive background in customer care, business development, design, and manufacturing of machinery/devices. He is an accomplished musician-producer, singer and songwriter. He has a music production company, Butch Truan Productions.
